We know the future of design is biological. Products and their components must become sustainable, “healthy” and be globally ethical. We believe they can one day be entirely grown; not heavily manufactured or assembled. We believe waste is a human invention and by looking at Nature we can reimagine the performances and lifecycle impact of products. Our work expands design through the testing of new technologies in material science, digital fabrication, and further invents around existing perceptions of waste and ecological supply chains through this combination of scientific research, design methodologies, and visionary antidisciplinary thinking to build a future that further nurtures design with Nature.

We are exploring the application of biological processes, organisms, and materials for the regeneration of our manufactured world of consumer and industrial goods. We emphasize biomimicry and the importance of materials that address carbon emissions and mitigate risks to Earth's ecosystem and our species as humans that are integrated within it. Through experimentation, MyGrow™ Design questions what exists on the market – from supply chain to end lifecycle – and how things are manufactured to develop how we might provide product performances and meet human needs differently.

Today, we work to answer the question, "How might we change the relationships between people, objects, and industry through a design process for manufacturing that uses biotechnology?"
